What our clients say about us

A. Toscano Consultants Limited became First Stage Enterprises Ltd. on January 4, 2019. You will see testimonials under both company names as we move forward.

We have used the services of Alison Toscano as our events planner for years. Without exception, each of our events has taken place smoothly and seamlessly and most importantly for a not for profit, cost effectively. As with all events, from time to time we see the unexpected happen . . . everything from last minute visits from politicians to unexpected food allergies of the delegates. In every case I have been informed in a timely way with elegant solutions already in place. Truly, Alison makes a time that could be a challenge into an experience that our delegates, my staff and I all enjoy.

Chief Executive Officer
Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario

I have worked with A. Toscano Consultants Limited (ATCL) for many years in my role as Board Member and President of the Vancouver Chapter (2016-2018) of the CIO Association of Canada (CIOCAN). The support that we received for our day-to-day activities of running a local CIO Association Chapter was always first-rate whether it was for website updates, Board minutes, membership processing, event registration or countless other administrative functions.

I also had the pleasure of working with Alison and her team when I co-chaired the National CIOCAN Peer Forum which was held in Vancouver in April 2018. This conference was one of the most successful in the history of CIOCAN: a lot of that was directly related to the skills and expertise of the ATCL team. It truly was a world-class event with record-breaking attendance from across Canada.

We continue to use ATCL for our CIOCAN administrative services and I’m excited to be working again with Alison and her team on the 2019 Peer Forum, which will be held in Toronto. I know with ATCL onboard it will be another huge success!

Past President, CIOCAN – Vancouver Chapter

I have had the privilege of working with A. Toscano Consultants Limited (ATCL) since 2015, initially as a board member, and then for the past year, as President, Registered Nurses’ Foundation of Ontario (RNFOO). Alison, Heather, Barb and other members of the team have proven themselves as dedicated, trustworthy, and unwavering advocates of the nursing profession, with great communication skills and passion for excellence. ATCL facilitates generation of innovative fundraising ideas, actively seek inputs from multiple stakeholders, and brings different perspectives together combining them in innovative ways. With strong business acumen, exceptional knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and sound understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements, ATCL provides a basis for long-term financial security, stability and organizational sustainability. ATCL takes the stand in the face of adversity, confronting problems directly and promptly, effectively defining priorities, and taking on challenges from a problem-solving perspective. Any world-class charity or non-profit organization would be very lucky indeed to have ATCL on their team.

President, Registered Nurses’ Foundation of Ontario (RNFOO)

I worked with A. Toscano Consultants Limited as part of the amalgamation between the Purchasing Management Association of Canada and Supply Chain and Logistics Canada in 2014. Alison was a key part of making that transition a smooth one, working with all parties to keep our focus on the common good for both organizations. Subsequent to the amalgamation, Alison took on a project management role for government contracts along with other projects of the new association. Maximizing her industry contacts, regularly engaging a range of stakeholders, and maintaining a focus on process and progress made these activities a success as well. With a range of skills and resources, ATCL brings a great deal of flexibility to the table to meet the short-term and long-term needs of the not-for-profit community.

On behalf of CIOCAN, a special thanks to all of you for a job extremely well done at the CIO Peer Forum. From the initial planning stages to on-site execution, you didn’t miss a “beat” and everything ran very smoothly.

You are the best!
