Doug Rosser is a seasoned administrator in the “not-for-profit” sector having been involved with a diverse range of clients and employers over a span of 35 years. He has held progressively responsible positions from Manager to Director, to President, with budget responsibility up to ten million dollars. Through his involvement with more than sixty boards of directors, he has gained a unique perspective on the challenges facing boards as they seek to deliver effective programming in an era of significant financial change.

First Stage Enterprises is a significant provider of management services to not-for-profit associations, providing management support to provincial and national associations, encompassing healthcare, the environment and biotechnology.

First Stage Enterprises is also one of the largest conference and special event producers in Ontario, staging more than 24 provincial and national conferences annually.

As a result of the above, we relate to the challenges of dealing with more than two dozen volunteer Board of Directors, with short and long term financial planning, with strategic positioning, and corporate communications, as well as government liaison.
